A former corporate trainer for a national carrier, Jeff founded The Blue Orange to work with brokers and HRs in bringing a comprehensive answer by leveraging technology in the realm of benefits. He is well-versed in worksite benefits for private and public sector.

As a business owner for thirty years, Justin not only has experience with success, but has driven through adversity to grow into a position that solidifies the operational and financial goals of The Blue Orange. His experience with insurance sales across multiple carriers and relationships over numerous industries compliments the strategies and solutions that The Blue Orange brings to the table.

Karen is the person account contacts email directly. She keeps the weekly file and report cycle running — including pulling files early when a client is heading into time off — sorts out benefit effective dates when something posted wrong, and answers the access questions that come with a shared license. She also handles invoicing, so the billing side of an account stays as clear as the platform side.

Daniel runs the connections between Employee Navigator and everything around it — carrier EDI, payroll and COBRA feeds. He builds and troubleshoots 834 files and API exchanges, maps eligibility classes to payroll worker types, and traces transmission records when a member doesn't land where they should. He also tells clients the truth about timing: feeds set up well before open enrollment go far better than feeds set up during it.

As our Onboarding Manager, Daniel makes sure every client starts off on the right foot. He oversees the entire setup process — from configuring systems and streamlining workflows to guiding new users through hands-on training. With a mix of tech know-how and people-first communication, he ensures that every transition into our platform feels smooth, confident, and supported

Lauren works the enrollment files that come back with errors. When a carrier's system rejects a batch, she reads the error report, works out what the underlying record actually needs — a corrected address format, an enrollment fixed before a termination can be redone in the right order — and walks the enroller through it. She stays on each one until the file processes clean.

Abigail started as a voluntary benefits agent but found herself drawn to the work that The Blue Orange was doing for their clients. Her history in the insurance world made for a smooth transition to the work she does now. Her passion for photography and music cultivates the creative mind it takes to offer various solutions to our accounts. As the account manager for the Blue Orange team, she works diligently to ensure she meets our client's needs in a satisfying and timely manner.

Christen builds the cases brokers and HR teams live in. She sets up plans, eligibility rules and contribution structures, runs open enrollment closes, and handles the rebuilds that come with a renewal or a carrier change. When an election doesn't look right, she works out whether it's the plan setup, the eligibility rule or the enrollment window — then fixes it.

Zeb builds cases and stays in front of the people using them. He sets up plans and enrollment windows — including the ones that don't run on the same calendar as everything else — reviews templates before they go live, and gets on a call when a question is faster answered out loud. When something needs the wider team, he brings them in rather than leaving the client to chase.

Matthew works across the build team's open enrollment schedule, coordinating directly with brokers and carrier reps to get each case moving. He configures the plan detail that trips builds up — copying coverage between linked plans, setting dependent eligibility correctly — and works with the Data Team on file specifications so the build and the feed agree.

I have 22 years’ experience in the IT business, for the most part in server and network support. I have 11 years’ experience in several aspects of the insurance business. I have three wonderful children and one grandson. I love to follow the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Kristin works the discrepancy reports that come back from carriers, chasing each mismatch until the carrier's records and the platform agree. She works directly with carrier service teams to get clarification, then clears the exceptions from the account so the next file goes through clean.

Alma brings a strong background in insurance to her work with HR leaders, helping them build real confidence in Employee Navigator and streamline the workflows they manage every day. "I like bridging the gap between the platform and the coverage details behind it, so client success feels straightforward instead of overwhelming. Seeing a team's HR tools finally work the way they should is the best part of the job." Alma has been married for four years and is a proud mom to four wonderful kids.
